AUX PSU Cable for Atari 8-bit XL/XE computers

This dedicated AUX PSU Cable allows selected C64PSU and Atari PSU models with an auxiliary FDD/AUX power output to power compatible Atari 8-bit computers. It is designed for systems such as Atari 600XL, Atari 800XL, Atari 65XE, Atari 130XE and Atari 800XE. 

The cable is especially useful when you already own a compatible power supply with an additional output originally intended for a second device, such as a Commodore 1541-II / 1581 disk drive or an Atari SF314 / SF354 floppy drive. With this cable, the auxiliary output can be used as an alternative power output for an Atari 8-bit computer. 

The 1.8 m cable is made with pure copper conductors with a 0.75 mm² cross-section, approximately equivalent to 18 AWG, for reliable power delivery.

Compatible with selected C64PSU and Atari PSU models

This cable can be used with compatible power supplies equipped with the proper auxiliary FDD/AUX output, including selected versions of:

• Commodore 64 & 1541-II / 1581 2-in-1 PSU
• Commodore C64 / C128 PSU PRO
• Atari 520ST + SF314 / SF354 2-in-1 PSU
• Commodore 1541-II / 1581 PSU PRO

Useful for mixed Atari setups

This solution may be particularly practical for users who own both Atari ST and Atari 8-bit systems. For example, if you have an Atari 520ST + SF314 / SF354 2-in-1 PSU, the auxiliary output normally used for the floppy drive can alternatively be used to power an Atari 8-bit computer with this dedicated cable.

Important compatibility note

This is a dedicated cable for the auxiliary output of compatible Electroware / C64PSU power supplies. It is not a universal extension cable and should only be used with PSU models and output configurations intended for this type of cable. Please check your power supply model and connector type before ordering.
