The original Commodore 64 PSU is the #1 cause of C64 failures. The separate 1541-II PSU can age and fail as well. Our solution combines both in one safe, modern unit: the C64 PSU “2-in-1” powers your C64/VIC-20 and the 1541-II/1581 drive simultaneously.

It delivers clean, filtered 5 V DC (up to 4.0 A) from an industrial-grade AC/DC module and true 9 V AC (up to 1.5 A) from a heavy-duty linear transformer. For the floppy drive it also provides 1 A @ 5 V DC and 0.5 A @ 12 V DC. All packed in a compact, durable enclosure with proper ventilation, mechanical protection and electrical isolation — a drop-in, community-trusted Commodore 64 power supply replacement.

Our Adjust & Protect hardware enables safe fine-tuning of the 5 V output in a limited range (typically ~4.9–5.3 V DC with a C64C reference load). This lets you compensate cable/switch drops and match modern expansions. With a 4 A budget it can also power a C128 via a C64→C128 adapter — basic voltage adjustment helps when switching between C64 and higher-draw C128 setups.
