Why is adjustable 5V output important? Every Amiga system is slightly different – especially when using accelerators, RAM expansions, CF/SD storage or other peripherals. These upgrades can increase current draw and cause voltage drop on the 5V line. With the Adjustment & Protection Module you can safely fine-tune the output (5.0–5.5 VDC) to keep a rock-solid 5.0 V right at your Amiga’s motherboard, ensuring stability and protecting sensitive chips. Please note: while the Adjustment & Protection Module helps compensate voltage drop for most expanded systems, very power-hungry Amiga accelerators (depending on model and it's power specs) may still require our dedicated Amiga Boost PSU. Standard Amiga PSU units are designed for original configurations and moderate expansions, but extreme setups should use the Boost model for guaranteed stability at extended current draw (up to 8A at 5V rail).
