Commodore C64/C128/VIC-II voltmeter device by Electroware: complete 5VDC voltmeter compatible with C64, C128 and VIC-20 computers.

It's an ideal add-on for Electroware adjustable PSU models (PRO line & the regular ones upgraded with adjustment module) where you can see the voltage changes live, during manual trimming. Now you don't need to open your Commodore, or measure the port pins with multimeter anymore, which was always tricky when you need to adjust the PSU at the same time where at least three hands are needed ;)

Commodore C64/C128/VIC-II voltmeter device by Electroware

Our voltmeter is a complete 5VDC rail voltmeter compatible with C64, C128 and VIC-20 computers. Unlike the competitor's oled displays showing fixed "5.01V" at the PSU (which is totally useless feature for the user) I decided to give you the tool to measure the voltage at your request, directly at the computer main board, after the power cable and on/off switch voltage drop (which is different for every model and every single unit).

HOW TO USE IT?

Plug this little gadget into your cassette port (it will not block the port as the signals are passing trough to connect your CN2 datasette) and you have a choice to turn the display on or off if not necessary. It's factory calibrated with reference voltage source to give you accurate measurements but there's always an option to calibrate it again by the user (trim potentiometer is exposed through small calibration hole at the back of the voltmeter).

It's an ideal add-on for Electroware adjustable PSU models where you can see the voltage changes live, during manual trimming. Now you don't need to open your Commodore, or measure the port pins with multimeter anymore (which was always tricky when you need to adjust the PSU at the same time where at least three hands are needed).
